In at 2.75

I bought in at $2.75, insanely cheap company with 61 cents a share in cash. Complete no brainer buy.

Heh... well it looked even more insanely cheap in January when we were at $4 with even more cash (which you should value at 1/2 for E/V purposes) and with a whole load of catalysts for more sales. But now, COVID is essentially over, which was their big driver, they've got a bunch of stock in the warehouse they have ...more

All fair points, I appreciate your input. Its hard to tell if I should have waited a bit longer. I have time to wait so I am not too worried about being early as I know there will eventually be a pay off. I think the fact that its bleeding month to month makes it more attractive than when everyone is jumping on. I like to get stocks that sell off more than they should due to sector rotation. I have no doubt the company will eventually do well, but it's surprising to see that it's taking so long to produce fruit. Mind you, when I bought in back in January, I believed there was an expectation that they would be more than a comsumer goods company which doesn't seem to have happened, so it's probably properly valued now. What sort of areas did you think they would branch into? I was hoping they would develop more consumer goods products just to diversify away from their core products and gain more revenue/market share. I think the $1 figure you are quoting is counting the money from redeeming the warrants, which makes sense but I think they are likely off the table bar a miracle. There is only so much the company ...more

I was hoping they would develop more consumer goods products just to diversify away from their core products and gain more revenue/market share. Yes, I remember that was talked about, but my notes also said watch for a line of medical products - bandages, masks, COVID-related stuff.  Obviously that didnt' happen, and in succeeding reports there's no word that this was ever seriously ...more
