Tenaz Energy To Acquire Producer In Egypt, Morocco In All-Sh

Activity is starting to occur within the junior oil and gas space. Tenaz Energy Corp this morning indicated it will be purchasing additional production via an all-share transaction, whereby it acquires London-based SDX Energy PLC.

I am interested to know what some of the O&G people think of this deal.... I was surprised it was all shares and no cash, since hopefully they still have all the cash they raised. I guess it is good if it shows they have more deals on the way....

The price appears to be good, though I don't know much about the assets. Egypt just improved their royalty system to encourage investment. i like that it is all shares. The float is too small anyway, lots more cash in the bank and the company they just bought has even more cash. Lots of ammunition for more deals now. Frankly, I wish they would (or already had) spud 6-8 wells on their ...more
