The real deal?

Having seen the latest results, as promising as they may be, I still have to express caution ahead of the coming events. I do applaud managements recent change in communications style, and congratulate them on the Area 52 discovery. But, given Balmoral’s history of coming up short and managements fumbling of most information and shareholder relations, I would have to believe one of two things will occur in the next couple months.

Either, Area 52 is something Balmoral knows to be a significant find and can be a game-changer. In which case, they have to sell one of their properties to fund the campaigns to prove-up Area 52.

Or, Area 52 is another attempt to generate some hype in a ploy to get the share price up to 30-40 cents so they can do another round of financing, and then go back to normal operations with nothing coming from Area 52.

If they announce a financing campaign in the next couple months, I call bullsh*t on Area 52, and caution people to not buy into the hype. If they sell a property to finance Area 52, then it’s a whole different game. In my opinion, if they think Area 52 is significant, they have to generate the cash to prove it, and not by dilution.

The last time they did a private placement, they had to buy shares themselves because they didn’t have enough interest in the company any more. Knowing that, it’s my opinion that they are using Area 52 to generate interest, and it may or may not be what they portray it to be. I hope it is a monster. But, I’ve been a shareholder for a long time, and don’t really believe them.  If they ...more

Hawaiii: I think a 50/50 JV with Wallbridge for the Martiniere, Fenelon (Areas 50, 51 and 52) and Grasset Gold should be the deal of the day!!!!!! Controlling this region of the Sunday Lake Deformation Zone is crucial.

DB, you may be right, though I don’t think Wallbridge can afford it. Would likely be a developer/major with deeper pockets.

Well put. So the PERCEPTION of future success is dependent on the funding strategy......especially given their credibility issues.

As they say, perception is reality. So, yes, if they are perceived as doing the same as they have in the past, then we shouldn’t expect anything different.  I dont know the the answer to this question, and it would go a long way to changing perceptions - has management bought into this new discovery? Does JF actually own any shares, not options, has he put any of his own money into the ...more

Just wondering if below these drill start points 2 and 3 there is a mass deposit where it joins the Area 51 and shear zone, you never know what lies beneath. https://www.balmoralresources.com/assets/img/resized/Figure_2_Area_52_Plan_Map-20190914193701.jpg

Perhaps they could drill hole 3 from the other side to firstly delineate the high grade area and secondly drill into Area 51 by continuing through into it on the other side.
