nicely said Shylockreturns   That was great advice from Pierre Lassonde His comment about "going away" for a couple months after making your purchases seems like a smart move if you are long

  i don't know about that. An equal argument could be made for going away for a couple of months and then buying

Well, ultimately we all have to make our own decisions but his idea was to buy if you like the price, add a bit if it goes lower (or goes higher) ... and THEN go away for a couple months.  I think that in times like these, it would be prudent to heed the advice of the veteran investors who have such a wealth of experience. I'm not sure I would be able to ignore the market for a couple ...more
