There is at least a 50/50 chance that this deal with WM falls apart either because of market conditions or its voted down in May. More likely WM could walk away. In such a scenario BAR could drop to 20c or lower. Best to take the money and buy WM; they've got the proven drill holes and the mgt. Don't try and be a genius, you can get hammered.

Lucky06 ?? What,s your problem ? the deal will be close IF there is NOT an other BIG POCKET$$$ who decided to grab the BAR or both of them so we will see & about your 0.20 dream! forget about it ! you will sleep well at night ! Best luck

Lucky06 - I can think of no valid reason BAR would not combine with WM. Fact is, Balmoral would be crazy to lose the opportunity now presented to them. Wallbridge clearly is in the driver's seat while Balmoral is riding shotgun. Without WM, BAR could drop to single figures. Were BAR to walk, my former rec to buy it would change to "buy WM" and run away from BAR. ...more
