Sinclair and CobalTech

Sinclair asked me to tell those associated with CobalTech that he wouldn't have any qualms with their methods for raising capital if the company issued speck instead of stock. CobalTech fell under his radar because of the proximity its proposed operations to Kirkland Lake. He feels that CobalTech stock is a "joke." However, he also feels that if the company instead referred to it as speck, that management and investors could participate on a "level playing field."

https://hubpages.com/money/How-A-Rename-To-Speck-In-2007-Might-Have-Saved-Nadine-Antoniazzis-life

"The problem with the stocks sold by Paul Antoniazzi's companies is that they lose most of their value. If, instead of stocks, Mr. Antoniazzi's companies sold investors options, the situation would be different. Then, investors would understand that they are purchasing a highly speculative investment that is likely going to lose almost all of its value, something that does not appear to be currently understood by all participants on the TSX Venture Exchange. However, there are problems with using the term option to describe the shares of companies like Opawica Explorations and RT Minerals.

Others terms, which serve exactly the same purpose, are speck, shyre, speculity, speculation, and inspeculation. For example RT Minerals Corporation could be referred to as RT Minerals Speculation, and its shares as shyres, and stock as speck. Before being allowed to trade in speck, investors could be required to be shown a chart comparable with the Opawica Explorations time-decay chart above, similar to how options investors must be shown the option time-decay chart above. In this way, a higher level of "full, true and plain disclosure," as described by the Ontario Securities Commission, would clearly be achieved."

Lol who the 7uck is sinclair lol

Ignoring your petulant, insolent "7uck," but answering your question: Sinclair is the one who warned everyone about what a joke CobalTech shares were 40 percent and six months ago. He also uncovered a suspicious death in Kirkland Lake and invented a new financial product that will save lives. Everyone on this board was up in arms about it a few months back. https://us.blastingnews.com ...more

Hmmm  sounds like a cult. And you really didn't ignore the "7uck" had  you actually ignored it then you wouldn't have mentioned it to begin with, you would have quite rather done the entirely opposite and left it out completely , yet here we are acknowledging the fact that you acknowledged it, and that you did not ignore it therefore we cannot  acknowledge the fact ...more

Well actually let's clarify that a bit. First of all he actually missed the run from $0.15 to $0.45 since his Nostradomus-like rant about CSK, and now has missed the acquisition of CSK at $0.20/share. So he is hardly the messiah of investing. Oh and secondly he could also be a felon. Don't know if this is the same guy nor do I care nor do I want to invest any more time on this. But given ...more

Really, really classy to laugh so heartily in the face of discussion of an innocent dead woman. Wallow in this: Sinclair is a truthful Canadian journalist, who has been challenged in court, stood his ground, and won, about his reporting surrounding Nadine Antoniazzi's suicide. This was covered in the media like this: https://www.baytoday.ca/more-local/north-bay-man-charged-with-criminal ...more

Ohhh Stockhouse. I come for the gossip, but I stay for the crazies. Fun fact, this isn't the Sinclair biography fan page. All joking aside you really do sound crazy, I'm not going to make fun of you or entertain this any longer with speculations of your mental health.  I only hope and i am being sincere, that one day we are all able to find something to care so deeply about as you do ...more

Sparticus, you are such a little child. Sinclair's writing could save the life of one of your loved ones one day. I bet you'd feel a bit different about this situation if Nadine Antoniazzi was a member of your family. Do you laugh at Celine Ethier's mother too? How do you find death so entertaining? You need help. https://hubpages.com/politics/Kirkland-Lake-Cover-up-in-death-of-Mayor ...more

Again this is not a Sinclair fan page, all you've been doing is looking for some type of acknowledgement. Do you really need affirmation from people on the internet? You came here last night with "I told you so" and since then all you have been doing is posting articles and background on someone we have never heard of. And then You get all butt hurt when we don't know who the guy ...more

You switch from laughing hysterically about a dead woman, to "you're crazy," to "all the best, and be well." Dude, you might want to consider looking inward with the crazy assertions. I'm certainly not looking for any acknowledgement from you. You call me names, I'll tell you what I think. And btw, I'm not Sinclair.

Scribe / Sinclair; You don't have a receptive audience here. It serves little purpose to post here. This is not a favorable venue for your crusade.
Comment by CanadianScribe on Jul 09, 2017 1:02pm
What crusade? Newsworthy material facts about TSX Venture-listed companies. Why does CobalTech appear in a list of almost 100 companies' stocks with missing consolidation adjustments presented to Canadian Minister of Safety Ralph Goodale? Missing consolidation adjustments on charts can mislead investors. Why does Stockhouse get split adjustments right, when it is in the favour of issuers, but ...more

2 books I've readed on venture listed stocks, are "Contrepreneurs" and "Fleecing the Lamb" about penny stocks on the VSE, I believe most of us here know the risks.

It's funny that they don't mention those books in research from outfits like Small Cap Network who was paid $2,000 a month for "market awareness and other advertising" about CobalTech from Frontier MCG. Or on sites like Quality Stocks that promoted the stock of Kirkland Lake Mayor Tony Antoniazzi's brother, Opawica Explorations. Kudos to you for making yourself aware of the ...more

Here's Sinclair's article that details CobalTech's missing consolidation adjustment with BigCharts. This is a big concern for those who use technical analysis. Notice how BigCharts has CSK closing out 2012 near $0.20 and Stockhouse has it closing the year out near $0.90? See how the BigCharts chart spikes in April 2015, but the Stockhouse chart is flat? This appears to be from a ...more

Get your facts straight. Sinclair is no felon and has no criminal record, and never has. As a graduate of the Canadian Securities Course, he is qualified to be employed as an investment advisor. He has also published close to 1,000 articles with at least three different professional publishers. Only about two percent of his writing deals with this issue, which the only newspaper in Kirkland Lake,  ...more
