1920 to 1933

was how long it took to turn alcohol prohibition in the US around because the voters wanted it turned around.  It never did go-away, just underground.  US MSO's are brave forward thinkers and doers who are angling to establish profitable businesses despite the onerous regulations and time delays that government is famous for.  Both US parties are willing to let State law control things and unwilling to do the work to get it right by rewriting the Federal laws that prevail.  Interestingly the Feds seem ok with it but the MSOs and potential new International investors want it to be dead right that they can operate without jeapordy to have assets seized and or criminal charges levied by the Feds.  The US could take this on and do blanket Federal legislation to launch the American greenrush, if for no other reason than to level the playing field with Big Alcohol for what is argueably a safer vice for consumers.  Marijuana is considered a vice but also is considered as medicine by many after decades of experimentation.  New pharmaceutical use requires lots of trials and paperwork and a lot of the approved medicines are detrimental to lots of patients but it is a workable system.  Consumers of marijuana and hemp products can pick the reason for why they use it which if nothing else is interesting.  I believe that it is because the experimentation has been done and the safety efficacy for cannabinoid users is negligable.  That leaves us with Acreage which to me is Canopy USA who have all the pieces in place for Canopy when we get a triggering event to maintain their world leadership roll for marijuana and hemp.  Legal adult use for fun still allows patients to use it for medicine but still leaves the choice for companies to move forward and get Investigational New Drug Status somewhere in the future.  Acreage is dependant on a trigger but I beleive that we will get the triggering event and as far as cheap MSOs go, it is cheap.  A lot cheaper than when I first charged in and with the trigger will come the explosion of the shareprice of Canopy.  In the meantime, they are getting things in order, working towards branded beverages from Canopy's camp and other products too.  glta and dyodd
