AGN conducting phase 1 study of DMT

AGN announced yesterday that they've received approval to conduct a phase 1 study of an IVF of AP-188 (DMT) for treatment of stroke in the Netherlands from BEBO.

While multiple studies have already been successfully conducted on DMT, AGN is conducting a phase 1 study rather than phase 2 as they are investigating prolonged intravenous infusion of DMT, for durations that haven't been studied. This will help plan phase 2 studies.
