It's still a surprise to me how unknown $ASEP.c is given how important and revolutionary their commercialization will be.  
 
I was doing more research on sepsis and found that it is the second leading cause of maternal death. Plus, new data has confirmed that women of color are disproportionately at more risk of developing maternal sepsis than white women and older mothers are.
 
Maternal sepsis is devastating for those affected, often leaving families motherless or resulting in severe physical, psychological, and emotional trauma for survivors.
