Impressive to be working with iFyber & the US Army for pre-clinical development of its antibiofilm peptide. Having the US Army financially backing this shows validation and a real need for this to be brought to market as “Staggeringly there is not a single FDA-approved treatment for biofilm infections.” I love being a first mover in a space that has barriers to entry (patents, approvals, etc). This will be an exciting period for $ASEP with now having US Army, National Institute of Health, Canadian Institute of Health Research, Bill & Melinda Gates foundation, Genome Canada, etc as financial backers with grants totaling over $20mm in grants for both this peptide Therapy and the Sepsis Diagnostics.
