Stock being manipulated??

I have to admit BEE is taking a lot longer to take flight than I thought it would.  I still think the techology is brilliant and one day we'll all be greatly rewarded.  I have no idea when that day will be.  GLTA.

it's not just that it's taking a long time. it's the fact that we're hitting milestones and everything seems to be working out as hoped and yet the stock is being aggressively sold down.

Just to elaborate further on this... This  intense, constant anonymous selling seems to be happening with a specific type of microcap I own, and what makes it so questionable is that most of them are ones with a high degree of certainty in their technical/commercial success - e.g. the more research I do, the more apparent it is they have a legitimate tech that works, that is competitive ...more

oops - bit I didn't finish here, "it is possible one institution is selling to other institutions or arms length " Meant to say / finish sentence with "one institution is selling to others with non arms length relationships". just for clarity's sake

Canadian govt policy is inept has no idea of how a capital market should really function and contribute to economic development.  You don't need a brain, just buy a house.   BEE needs some news.  Their business takes time. If it's the real deal it will be bought out.

Personally, I think it's happened for so long that it's just accepted as a matter of course by the Canadian politicians. I can find articles describing manipulative trading practices by hedge funds in Canada going back to the 1990's.

Interesting post and well written.  I've also watched this occur with another stock that I did own but no longer own since the spring of 2021.  It is also great technology but I think it could be managed better in my opinion.  But I have continued to watch it.  Same theme.  Anytime the price looks to want to rise along comes some house (usually BMO, Anon, or TD ...more

No sooner did I post this and BMO dumped again as the price looked set to rise a little.  This has been occurring for months but when there is lack of substance for news then I guess it's easy for these dumps to occur.

Bandit, I somehow didn't see your post earlier. And yes, I agree with what you've written. The recent case the SEC pursued against David Sidoo and his partners in crime only corroborates my view about what has been happening across Canada's microcap market recently. It went down just like I described - the use of multiple trading accounts held by shell firms owned by ostensibly ...more

It's been like this for awhile. Note it was the SEC that went after Conrad Black, not the Canadian authorities. SEC even went after Martha Stewart for, if I remember correctly, about 60k USD worth of insiders trades. Both went to prison. Canadian companies don't stand a chance. Shares get crushed and manipulated all day long especially when a financing is on the horizon. There's a ...more
