northern Italy
Mediterranean-focused Company says it may has struck sufficiently large’ gas find
after drilling on its permit in northern Italy.The company is now looking to complete operations in order to secure certification from Italian authorities, with testing underway over the quality of commercial gas at the site.
“Whilst a comprehensive technical review is now required to confirm the size of the discovery, it appears sufficiently large to deliver important cash flows “With this well the Company has also demonstrated to investors, the Italian authorities and the important local Italian communities that it can secure permits in Italy and successfully execute complex drill programmes safely.

BRS Resources Ltd.'s Trava 2-D exploration well, located in the Po Valley of northern Italy, has been successfully drilled to a total depth of 3,619 feet (1,103 metres), and preparations are under way to log the well. The Trava 2-D well has multiple reservoir targets in the prolific Pliocene-age Porto Garibaldi sand.
