The hallmarks of a good old Made-in-Canada stock market scheme - give insiders mountains of cheap shares. Pay yourself an extremely hansome salary. Spend millions on promoting the stock on websites such as proactive, "likely" knowing it will never actually accomplish anything you promise. When the stock is high, your "Financers" (Guys you gave shares to for like 0.00001 cents or whatever) dump them on retail investors.
Tecchnically, because it was all done within a levgal vehicle and behind various safe harbor and risk statements, we can't say "this is a scam". But if I sold you a random decaying piece of grass off of the side of the road telling you I was sincerely convinced it was going to cure cancer, you bought it for $300,000 from me and it proceeded to become compost, what would you call me?
