$CULT makes early investment in Cow-Free Dairy company

$CULT.C is in the green again after announcing that it has completed an early-stage investment in De Novo Dairy.

De Novo (based in Cape Town) is the first precision fermentation company in Africa that is focused on alternative proteins products like yogurt, cheese and even ice cream.

By producing recombinant milk proteins through fermentation De Novo can create proteins identical to those in cow's milk without using cows.

These proteins can then be seamlessly integrated into commercially sold animal-free dairy products.
