Question for the board............

In the webcast it was stated that the cannabis tolling agreement with a large Canadian cannabis producer was a producer whom was in the top five across Canada.
I assume this is either the #4 or the #5 producer. If it was either #1, #2, or #3 they would have said the producer was in the top three.
Question is:
Who is the #4 or the #5 top Canadian producer?

quote from article. "Today, just eight months later, the top five Canadian marijuana growers by peak production have changed considerably: Canopy Growth: 500,000 to 550,000 kilos. Flowr Corp. (OTC:FLWPF): 500,000+ kilos. Aphria: 255,000 kilos. Aurora Cannabis: Approximately 230,000 kilos. Aleafia Health: 129,500 kilos. In short, the previous projected leader has fallen to No. 4, a grower that ...more

The contracted extraction and manufacturing opportunities will grow as the Canadian market grows and settles. That will increase in due time.  The emphasis on the machine itself, it's superior efficiency capabilities, and their growing technological solutions to scale processing is what was being sold here. The American cannabis market will not be like Cnada's roll out because they ...more

Not sure who the LP is that Paul referred to. It really doesn't matter tho. It's very apparent that many of the vertically integrated companies are moving away from extraction as it is more costly than they can achieve with say NL. The economy of scale is so much more efficient. Paul also mentioned his strategy for the U.S. It's a good strategy to wait for federal legalization and with ...more

The biggest aspect right now, related to the US, is due to cannabis being illegal at the federal level. With this you can't get any financing through the banks. Wait till federally legal and then lookout. The money will really start to flow through.

Technically cannabis only needs to be removed from the Schedule 1 drug list. Even if banking didn't change (it will) the only thing preventing partnerships in the US as a publicly traded Canadian co is it's current classifiction as an FDA Schedule 1 drug.   If the US chose to "decriminalize" before legalizing it would be enough grey area for the floodgates to open ...more

You are absolutely correct.

Back up shortly. Retainer bids for accumulation are pulled. I saw the $0.35 bids yesterday and figured it would get knocked down for some shares to be bought up today. Cheers

Unfortunately I think the excitement assosciated with thin bid/asks and the volatility are gone. Day trading penny flippers are here. They take all the fun out of it. : (

A lot of the sector run up may have been on anticipation of cannabis banking being included in the relief package. It wasn't.  On the plus side the pullback wasnt as wild as the run-up, implying sector buzz is sustaining. Not every day's a winner but so far this quarter is.

Agreed. Both bid and asks are now operated by the computer algorithims. It's up to them to decide on where we are going now. I'll sit back and watch.
