That's the beauty of options...you don't pay any premium (nor tie up any cash at all)  until you flick the switch when you have a guaranteed return. It's the greatest form of wealth creation in business that there is (next to perhaps owning the commercial real estate and having your Op. Co pay rent to yourself (at reduced rates of tax)...oh and having a Family Trust so that you

Bingo. In a way, I know Roger knows all this as well. Which is why I'm still bullish (as annoying as it is) on QCA. IF QCA really starts pumping. and we see SIGNIFICANT shareholder value creation. The buying back of shares will/would be a tremendous return on investment AND, I'd even tolerate everything since Roger was actually doing what he felt was best for shareholders in his long term

Options when exercised create dilution which lowers the EPS and then usually the market share price. Not great for a small company that is having extreem trouble growing the NAV into the visable part of the financial universe.  The share buybacks and DSU's are basically funding this activity.
