Tocvan - executing the three "D's" and three "M's"....Tocvan closed above $0.60 on 251,000 shares. In my opinion, timing is better as the quiet days of summer are over and the drills will be turning soon.
The three "D's" and three "M's" are the basic building blocks for the success of a junior resource company. I also might add, control of the share structure is very important to a companies overall success.
Ffirst, let's examine the three "D's", Drill, Drill, and Drill..... this is very important as it serves to de-risk the play by identifying a NI 43-101 resource. Pilar has over 22,500 m of drilling, a resource that starts at or near the surface, and can be mined as an open pit operation. The drills will be turning again very soon and a maiden resource will be released. This type of methodical drilling also serves to attract Joint Venture partners, either for investment or for their production capabilities, as evidenced by the $5.125 M financing over the next 2 years. This type of financing further serves to de-risk the play.
And as mentioned in a previous press release, El Picacho will be drilled very soon. The data compilation has been completed, and I might add, this was a very thorough evaluation of historical information and supportive geological mapping and sampling. from press release, ...."... With the rain season coming to an end in Sonora, planning is underway to initiate drilling at San Ramon as soon as possible....".... I believe the potential size, and ultimate resource at El Picacho, is larger than Pilar..... this quote from PR is suggestive of the potential, ...."..... Tocvan believes this provides an excellent opportunity for discovery of a muti-million ounce district. ..."....
Next, the three "M's", Marketing, Marketing, and Marketing..... as they teach in early innovation courses, mareketing is the key to attracting clients, retaining clients, and allowing fo the ability to raise capital. Brodie Sutherland is paying keen attention to this practice, yesterday he was presenting to the Mineral Exploration Group Society in Calgary, Alberta. He is also presenting at the Discoveries Mining Conference in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico, on Oct. 5. This is the eighth addition of the conference that showcases mining and exploration companies of Mexico. The conference is held Oct. 4 to 6. Tocvan will have a booth for the duration of the event (booth No. 173) and president and chief executive officer Brodie Sutherland will be presenting on the company's two gold-silver assets in Sonota.
Fundamentally nothing has changed over the last several months and the renewed buying over the last few weeks is indicative Marketing is working, and with the Drills turning soon, I think true value will become apparent as more results are reported.
