Recoveries

Did anyone notice that recoveries were 43% while their target was 94%? This is half of what was targeted, which also means earnings will be half of the target. Is there any hope the recoveries will go to 94%?

Initial running of the mill.  Tweeks and fixes as we ramp up.  Plus the material was super low grade as it was used to bed the mill before higher grade material is put through.

There are several factors that need to be considered. Gold form, matrix and concentration eg gravimetric will only be about 25% of production filtration the rest. What they have processed grade wise is more typical of cyanide leach and not what they will be processing on a routine basis which should be around 0.25 oz pt or better.

When you look at a similar project from Antioquia gold in the link below, you can see that concentrate grade and recovery will improve after just one month time at the same feed grade. So I'm optimistic that they will be able to improve the concentrate quality. https://colombiagoldletter.com/exploration-news-april-2019/
