Selling to make a few cents will backfire

Not sure why people are selling when clearly something is happening here. Why would you sell to make a few pennies when you can cash in on the jackpot? With the recent activity, I am guessing that we will hear something soon. And I'm also guessing that some of you will be sorry you sold.
