Press release IP
What is IP (induced polarization)? In the simplest terms it is electrocuting the ground. Electrically nonconductive minerals are oblivious to the current and the charge. Electrically conductive minerals soak up some of the charge. An IP map is a map of soaked up charge. Deep blue is zero and deep red is maximum.
Most ore minerals such as Galena, Sphalerite and Chalcopyrite are electrically conductive but so are worthless minerals such as Pyrite and Pyrrhotite. Only the drill bit can tell the geologist what is soaking up the charge.
This IP survey gives Nick and his team guidance on where to drill next year. They have numerous buried/blind targets. What they have been drilling at surface so far looks rather minor in the grande scheme of things.

Sorry, deep red grades further to light purple which is maximum.

Next years' drilling will be targetting some of those hidden conductivity highs - could be a very exciting year for Core Assets.
