Friday March 17th

A poster noted earlier that Nord's BFS is due by Friday. Once that's out for review, I think all interested parties in the development of the FG deposit will have a clearer picture of what's involved and begin to position themselves accordingly. Should be an interesting Spring/Summer season.

It could be a good Bellweather of future M & A Activity given industry CEO's stated number 1 concern is reserve replacement. Hopefully, the AISC stays in the top quartile and draws alot of attention.

Agree with the prior posts that it should be an interesting next couple months for CGT given the release of the BFS coincinding with potential ramped up near-development stage projects M&A. Based on insight from mngmt and I guess a bit of 'gut feeling' I'm optimistic about the BFS.  I've been a CGT shareholder for a while but I don't have too much experience ...more

I've heard rumblings about CGT acquiring a corn mine somewhere in the Nevada region...perhaps looking to profit on the next best resource after gold!

Bullstock: I see the most likely Scenario as a Producer buying all the FG assets Columbus owns with a spin out (Nevada et al). Each Columbus shareholder would receive a cash payment (FG) + 1 share in a new Columbus entity. Let's be frank - Columbus management will want to keep their jobs and with the Wallace connection and experience I'm all for it In my opinion the current CGT share price ...more

Alta Rounder - I'd agree, and IMHO the current market cap doesn't even fully value the FG assets. Easy to see how the scenario you describe could mean big upside for us given the number of producers in the region who may be interested in a high quality asset, and the decent chance of the Nevada assets being worth something substantial a few years down the line.
