Soooo dumb question. What's the difference btn these 'Level 2' Quotes and...I guess "regular" ones?

Level 1 quotes show the current ask and bid price - just the first level. often times they are delayed by 15 minutes unless your broker or other source provides real time. Level two show a breakdown of the top bids and asks - in the case of RBC you can see the top 10 ask and bid prices - theCSE.com provides level 2 for free but its delayed by 15 minutes. there is further levels ...more
