WHO UNDERSTANDS THIS $500 STRIKE PRICE

WHAT IS THIS $500 STRIKE PRICE?

As a result of the disappointing harvest and to make Crop more attractive to potential partners the company has been working with its associate companies in order to prepare the exercise options it holds to increase its ownership on its various assets, the strike price of which is $500 (U.S.) each. The company will prepare its books for the audit and accounting implications of increasing its ownership at each subsidiary.

I think if they pay 500 dollars they then have the option of buying more percentage of the property at a certain price wich was predetermined in the contract , but the way they wrote it , they make it sounds like they only have to pay 500 dollars to gain a higher percentage of the property. , I'm not sure tho.

No It is saying each unit of the companies is worth $500 per. Of which they can purchase these units at $500 per to increase their percent ownership to XX.  How many units are involved in each entity will determine the amount transaction will cost.

The company has to come up with some money here pretty quick or it lights out if you ask me.

I won’t argue with that.
