I do think it is different this time around (famous last words). Around the time when DPM moved up to $10 there were a number of businesses significantly declining in value offsetting the DPM gains (Parq, Blue Goose, UHIC). They've since focused the strategy on mining and I would say all of the private investments are currently valued at zero by the market (hopefully we get some positive surprises from the legacy investments).
