Defense Technologies International Corp., through its subsidiary Passive Security Scan Inc. (PSSI), owns rights to the Passive Security Scan, a walk-through personnel scanning system. The Passive Portal is an advanced passive scanning technology for detection and identifying concealed threats to be used for the security of schools and other public venues. The Passive Portal can scan up to 1200 people per hour. PSSI has the license to manufacture and sell the Passive Scanning Technology. The Company has added a camera for the detection of elevated body temperatures (EBT). Its products include Passive Portal, Passive Portal EBT, and Passive EBT Station. Its Passive Scanning Technology non-invasively detects weapons by reading subtle changes in the Earth’s magnetic field. Its products are used across various public venues including, government buildings, veterans’ affairs (VA) hospitals, sports stadiums, night clubs, commercial yards and depots, and airports, among others.
