Empower Clinics Inc > What do you guys think

What do you guys think

I'm slightly concerned with the delay for Kai test site. Steve talked about "a few days" 2 weeks ago, do you guys think there are any big concerns holding this up? Also with the first 3 clinics partnered with rexall expected to be operational late may early June as Steve proposed in an interview, seems like a very lofty goal of 30 clinics by year end. We all know the year end 2020 and Q1 financials will be very good so those news releases may not give a big push to the sp since Steve talks about them so much. By being so transparent with his interviews sometimes we don't get the big shock and awe from some of their news releases. Let me know what you guys think moving forward, long on empower. Have a great day everyone.

Hi @nutrader, I don't have time to answer all of your questions right now but Steve talks about kaitest.com in this interview at around 20:05. I think it's very reasonable and prudent to make sure everything is working perfectly before going live. I'm not concerned. Hope it helps! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=IPtl_KuWB8M

Thanks Gal, i have scoured through the interviews many times. Just hoping with the expansion to the lab something isnt holding them back from throwing the green light for the test site. Once the site is up that will be another big milestone for empower and its shareholders. Enjoy the evening everyone

Hey NuTrader, My opinon only here - but i am not concerned in the delay - I know what it takes to get a website up, nevermind the POS behind it - so these things take time. On the financials - I still think the the financials and Q1 2021 will be a huge catalyst - it will hopefully verify and exceed many of our napkin projections.  Financial confirmations always add some validity to the ...more

These are the good back and forth sharing of info and thoughts i enjoy about these boards.  Good to have constructive, realistic conversations both positive and negative.  Being a contractor in the construction industry i was not surprised by steve's calculations for the opening of new clinics. When i heard him talk about "its just cosmetic" i had a little chuckle.  ...more

Hi folks, Adding in here. Nutrader you mentioned a lack of shock and awe based on how transparent Steve is. I'm actually very pro that approach. If the last 30 days have showed us anything it is that there is a rapacious and well funded group of shorts that will go to any lengths to destabilize companies and try and run them into the ground if there is a parabolic rise in the share price in a ...more

I too like the paced momentum we have been enjoying the past few trading days. In saying that steve could possibly pick 1 maybe 2 interviewers per week, the repetition can be exhausting at times lol. They all tend to cover the same topics, the Q and A's can be good and helps keep Steve on his toes which is good for all investors.

In a recent interview Steve has stated that he wants to roll out 8 to 10 integrated health clinics a quarter. Concentrating on Canada in 2021 and then roll out a similar model in the US in 2022. The business model they have gets the clinics up and running within a few months and positive cash flow is expected quite quickly from each clinic. Steve's interviews are generally quite informative so ...more

For the most part this is definitely one of the more sensible boards, Nutrader. The responses from Gal and Art are an example of that. Another way of looking at your question is where has the company come from, where is it and what is it going to look like at the end of 2021 both operationally and financially. In a recent post I presented the quarterly financials. From 2019 to Q2 2020 Empower ...more

The 8 to 10 clinics per quarter is directly from Steve. The 3 to 4 clinics being mentioned here is being conservative? Last Agoracom interview March 5th at 3 to 6 minutes Steve discusses the clinic roll out.  www.youtube.com/watch?v=HEoFq_tiJbA

Hey JRK - I certainly agree my comments on 3-4 are conservative.  In my experience, CEOs tend to be visionaries and move quickly - the reality is processes like this usually take a little longer.  Having said that - I hope Steve proves me wrong and it wouldn't surprise me if he did. But you are absolutely right, his vision is that 8-10 per quarter is achievable. Again - this is ...more

Ok guys and gals here is another question to ponder. How many ACTUAL testing contracts have you all seen personally being handed out to covid testing companies? My Canadian city is running full open with 50% capacity. No where is there any type of testing I have seen besides the temperature gun testing for fever in some manufacturing sites. Some mining companies I worked at have nasal covid ...more

@Nutrader, this time I'll copy paste part of my old post ;) Here it comes: "My husband works in the film industry. When they started shooting back in October 2020, he got tested once a week, then a month later - twice a week and since December he has been tested for Covid 3 times a week... His production alone employs 135 people working "on set" in different departments ...more

hi Art  i've been invested in CBDT since the fall. Generally what Steve says, he does, Other people here would concur. I don't think he'd throw out the 8 to 10 number without being fairly confident that Empower would be very close to his projection. He's very cognizant of what he says. cheers
