Federal Signal Corporation Announces Definitive Agreement to Sell the Business of Federal Signal Technologies, LLC to 3M for $110 Million

, /PRNewswire/ -- (NYSE: FSS) today announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to sell its ("FSTech") business to (NYSE: MMM) for in cash, subject to post-closing adjustments. The transaction is subject to closing conditions and regulatory approvals, and is expected to be completed in the second half of 2012.

Yes, knew it was coming although I'm a bit surprised by the purchase price for all of FST.  Noticed in one of the releases that the final purchase price was "subject to post-closing adjustments"....so hopefully that means a big contract is close to being signed so FSS is hoping to get more. I'm finally out of 'Sirit'...I was expecting a better outcome...oh well.

My dream is came too late and made me sad, I alway said, SIRIT is perfect fit for 3M, I didn't know who is FSS before it take over of SIRIT. If 3M get show up 2 years early, my 200,000 share will turn to $200,000. it is big different for 0.20 in and 0.40 out. OR 0.20 in and 1.00 out now.
