Agreed, why sell when you are ok with the middling income and are sitting on handsome capital gain.

However, for new money, there is no case for my purchase yet.  I want to see a stronger discount to warrant the risk. Under $50 in a fullsome market selloff might spur me to action, but still hard to get too interested with rising interest rates likely for some time ahead and various dividend ETF's offering more.

How you look at it matters.  My investment in FTS has two components of return -- the unrealized capital gain, and the stream of realized dividends.  The issue for calculating a return depends upon your choice of denominator.  My spreadsheets record current yield and the yield on invested capital.
