These words are mind boggling
Darren Wagner former CEO of Balmoral would frequently say that the drill results in the abitibi get better and better as you drill deeper and deeper. GBR has on average drilled depth only to 500 meters and has been reporting spectacular results now for several years.
When u add these words below contained in the recent GBR press release, your mind gets blown- or at least mine is-
High-grade disseminated gold with broad moderate to lower grade envelopes (LP Fault). The LP Fault is a significant gold-hosting structure which has been seismically imaged to extend to 14 kilometres depth (Zeng and Calvert, 2006), and has been interpreted by Great Bear to have up to 18 kilometres of strike length on the Dixie property. High-grade gold mineralization is controlled by structural and geological contacts, and moderate to lower-grade disseminated gold surrounds and flanks the high-grade intervals. The dominant gold-hosting stratigraphy consists of felsic sediments and volcanic units.

How does abitibi apply here? Is that not a region that we are not in? Justtrying to trying understand what you're saying fully. Certainly can't debate the probability of better grades the deeper we go so I get that just not how the quote applies. Missing the perspective I guess. Thanks.

You're right Badger, the Abitibi Belt is in NE Ontario and NW Quebec. GBR is in either the Uchi or Red Lake Belt. Both are in the Superior Geological Province. The mines in Red Lake go pretty deep. However, that doesn't mean that the Dixie Project has to go deep. It may, but will have to be proven.
