Webinar!

Popcorn time! But before that, a picture from the message board in my office. Top is May, middle June a few days ago, and bottom as of today.

See the diff? I see the increased value. The immensely increased value.

They said a take over in less then a year. I think by newmont which is down the street.
Comment by flashcash on Jun 11, 2020 2:51pm
Newmount quit the area with the sale of red lake, Puregold...i dont think they left completely and will be back. Newmount is very cash rich...and has a lot of liquidity...it has a lot of muscle ! Reported $3.7 billion of consolidated cash with $6.6 billion of liquidity and a net debt to pro forma adjusted EBITDA*ratio of 0.7x
Comment by IvanHoe86 on Jun 11, 2020 4:37pm
Given that a company will not drain its cash and sit with a 100x Tier 1 ratio, we cant necessarily expect that Newmont is rich enough for a 5x or even 10x multiple unless they offer Equity + cash offer to GBR shareholders. This may require an even bigger player,   That being said, the vast majority of the market must truly be in the dark, no way this stock should be sub 14$ after that ...more

why getting nerveous. we`ve got a competent management team as proven in the past. do`nt think they`ll let it go all at once. They got enough to sell it piece by piece. I stick to my glasses of bordeaux and keep having fun
Comment by flashcash on Jun 12, 2020 1:16am
Newmount need not buy the whole lot...just a large block, we then drill the rest up and sell it. No one can afford the lot but they can buy some chunks of it. Say 5 000 000 oz blocks to multiple companies maybe. We keep the limb and hinge for our little...mine ! GLA Just hang in there !   We are cash rich, have a fantastic resource and fanatastic management and mining team.

Hey flashcash, you know I'm with you on the dividing it up scenario, I mean this is District Scale, but hearing Chris on the Webinar, well what he says if he would be a company buying us out, and that it would be in one, I'm not sure that we'll get what we want. Hopefully Chris is just stalling everyone to get on with the job of drilling this 5km area for now, and thinking the same way ...more

Its the size of this find which would make it difficult to buy out for its fair price ! Who has around that much cash ! I would like us to keep say the Dedee area so we can use our billions to drill it up and sell or mine, give us something to do.
Comment by Ivorygull on Jun 12, 2020 10:15am
Chris did say in the Webinar that we would still have the land parcels such as Deedee to add value to us if/when the Dixie project was taken over from us, adding that was one of their stratagies, getting these other land packages with similar style geology.
Comment by Ivorygull on Jun 12, 2020 12:51pm
I should add that while he did say this, which is excellent news, he more or less threw that out as a consolation for the person who was asking about dividing up the Dixie project to get more value. So while it is good to know that we can look forward in the future to working on those other land packages held by GBR, we do not yet know what they hold, thus I'd rather have more value come out ...more

But this is so big no one can afford us ! At least i hope so : )
Comment by Ivorygull on Jun 12, 2020 6:18pm
Flashcash, in that case we have reached the Great (Bear) Canuck Conundrum.   How does one sell a DISTRICT SCALE mining property? Or more accurately, how does one sell a DISTRICT SCALE mining property that has gold everywhere?   This is certainly a quandary, and will definitely put Chris and his team between a rock and a hard place in making the best decision to get the most value ...more

There are a lot of ways the financing guys can come up with to buy out a property.  As long as the gold is there and they're paying a reasonable price per oz of gold, the size doesn't really matter. It can be part cash. It can be part newly issued shares. Maybe two companies could combine to buy it out and run it.  Look at Nevada Gold Mines owned jointly by Barrick and Newmont ...more

Thanks rborhi, lots of good comments there. And for sure as long as they are paying a reasonable price per oz of gold, I hear you, but, I have to disagree with you when you say the size doesn't really matter. To me that's thinking 'normally' instead of 'district scale'. It is the so called blue sky potential on the ozs that will be unrealized or not counted in what is not ...more

I was bummed to miss the webinar and can't find it on YT yet nor on the GBR site.  :-(.   I am sure it was awesome but I will have to wait for a full dose of awesomeness.  :-)

Many thx Herm!
Comment by CdnBadger on Jun 11, 2020 4:26pm
No. Mr Coffin said he expects that. GBR did not. I agree with Coffin but that was his position not Chris or Bob's.
Comment by CdnBadger on Jun 11, 2020 4:27pm
That's not to say they don't expect it. They just didn't voice it other than saying it could happen.
Comment by rborhi on Jun 11, 2020 4:32pm
Minimum would have to be $2 billion IMO.  $3 or $4 billion even on the table, also IMO.
Comment by rborhi on Jun 11, 2020 4:33pm
GBR should hire someone like Friedland to negotiate for them lol.
