haters big and small

Come one, come all haters big and small. Based on some "happenings" lately it seems there's a few sour apples who didn't catch this one early. Shorts are also coming to this party, but based on results past, and future coming, you're just making me look for more buying oppritunity. Oh and trying to compare stock price to III is funny. How much impact did the Mt poly spill, union strike, low metal prices and overall debt. Imo they are not comparable by sp and market cap alone.

The Reason Imperial metals  has such a low market cap is primarily due to the MT. Polley disaster still hanging over their heads, debt issues and the fact that they have 30 years of mining low grade poor recovery open pit ore before they can access the high grade underground ore. Totally different scene.  GT should be able to access the highgrade ore through an incline tunnel.

New Afton is highly profitable at a little more than 1% cu eq.  We have similar caliber grades, and probably many more tonnes than Afton. block caving opex plus footprint capex can be around $20 per tonne.  We have better rock than that.  For the limit (stretched) of block cave profitability check out the Kemess south deposit that Centerra purchased for more than GT market cap ...more

Actually, Centerra got Kemess on the cheap, all the value was in the royalty portfolio..... Bought AuRico for C$310mln, sold royalty portfolio for US$155mln (~C$200mln), then slapped a stream on the silver for Kemess for US$45mln in strucutured payments..... But agreed, Kemess way lower grade than Saddle North initial drill results. Now gotta hope that follow up holes are as good as the first few ...more

I've told you guys it's a normal procedure to go down. No news we can see 1.40-1.50 very soon. I'm a buyer at these prices.

Gtt is the most predictable stock in my portfolio. It's time to buy it back soon but not yet.
