 Why did Newmount do a PP at $1.53 , when they could have bought shares on the open market at $.88 , share price still has not reached the PP level?

Newmont bought in because they believe in the project. They cant buy 11 million shares on the open market of a tightly held company like GTT so a premium was paid.

correct and opening bids are going to be in the 3-4 dollar range if the next assays are strong...And that wont get it done,@
