So why did Newmont take it out?

Was it the copper  reserves?

As they are not a big gold producer, if they do its as a by product of their operations.

And its still believe it or not a long ways away from hydro by the looks of it.

I think you guys and gals got a grat deal even before a PEA was done.

I never want to say never, but I highly doubt this project ever sees the light of day mine development wise....there has to be more to the story here...

Red Chris is so close and they had no problem getting the power set up 2 years  beofe they were up and running. Buying this asset on the cheap gets them up and running in no time as they are similar enough to RC they can extrapolate the PEA. Both mines will be running for over 30 years and cashing in on copper off into the  sunset. It will happen a lot quicker then your critics think ...more

Biggest problem they will have in 5 years is getting the mail deliveries mixed up. Newmont ...Newcrest.....mailman will never keep it straight. IKE
