Surprised but happy
The following sums it up
"Desjardins Capital Markets (“Desjardins”), the independent financial advisor to the Special Committee, has delivered to the Special Committee a formal valuation of the Shares completed under the supervision of the Special Committee, as required by Multilateral Instrument 61-101 – Protection of Minority Security Holders in Special Transactions (“MI 61-101”), which determined that as at October 3, 2023 and based upon and subject to the assumptions, limitations and qualifications communicated to the Special Committee by Desjardins and to be contained in Desjardins’ written formal valuation, the fair market value of the Shares is in the range of $3.25to $4.00per Share."
We're getting above fair market value for a Quebec based company where head office retention is always an issueas in pension fund involvement..
The buyers may make the "piles" I wanted the company to eventually make ; but having a cost price of 92 cents . my gain is 360% in under 4 years. That's piles.
Steve Miller is the perfect song :)
rotsevni0328 , you still have mail that has suggestions.
