Last time they paid only 1.02 or 1.05  and now they are prepared to buy at 1.29, nice.Don't let the sells fool you.All goldminers go down couple of %.

The question for me is who did they buy from?The current daily volume average over the last three months is 387K shares.Severstal bought 8.2M shares.This means that this transaction represents all shares traded over an entire month.  If Severstal has been buying this aggressively, why have we not seen more price pressure?The last time they invested this heavily, was last August as they cashed ...more

Simple, they used a partner to buy shares in the open market for months (not just one month).A lot of holders in HRG got tired of the non-performing stock, it was simple to accumulate them the last couple of months.They probably bought at an average of 1.19 and recieved 1.29 form Severstal. Nice deal for them and good for Severstal.Do remember that we control about 115 million of the 842 million ...more

Bingo, as has been suspected by many posters (who were right), Severstal has been working with a third party to accumulate shares.  Why don't they release who they purchased them from?  I had been doubting price manipulation due to some of the posts here but now I think my doubt is gone.  They IMO have been suppressing the price with trading tactics through a third party agent.. ...more

That's exactly what they've been doing.  Knowing that, and knowing that they can't squeeze us out, I doubled up at $1.16.
