You aint see the right things & you're vision is somewhat blurred & out of focus.
Change those rosy colored glasses,or take them off completely and see what's really going on in Canada.
If it's that obivious to a person on the outside like me, then it shouldn't be in question or even debatable to an intelligent person who actually lives there.

For the record. Canada does not have any what we call true Conservatives. That's been the case for some time now.

Canada political scene has been riddled with different degress or versions of what we here call Democratic leaning or Progressive left.
There is no Conservative party in Canada. Not for the last 30 at least, possibly more.
If you can't see this obvious fact, or you fail to acknowledge it, then there's no one on this planet that could help you see the truth with anything else.
You stating you actually live in Vancouver, you should be on the front lines as an observer & witness of everything wrong in Canada and the literal $Storm hitting the country.
I mean seriously, just look at the simple things, the low hanging fruit like you're state Governor. In this case its Province & whatever equivalent position that is.
I saw him once or twice recently, on some video interview with some other important folks in Canada,disparaging Trump & the US.
You know the first things that came to mind, when i saw saw him & listened to the crazy stuff he was saying, and the insane positions he was taking?
First, this guy was worse than that other fat tub of lard in Ontario. More moronic & dumber.
Second, i was asking myself if this was actually Pete Buttigieg's brother or cousin.
Why?
Because that's how weak he was......a total cuck.
Why am i pointing this out?
Because when you have that degree of weak leadership, starting from the top, everything else below, just falls crumbles to nothing or you're case..... to $hit.
Which has been the case for Vancouver & BC for many many years
BC right now is a drug infested, crime ridden, dystopian nightmare for decent folks who live there. Especially in major cities like Vancouver.
It's comparable to what's going on in Seattle or Portland, but much worse. If that's even possible.Beause it's really really bad in those other two.
The lesson here?
Don't dump on Trump for YOUR own internal fabricated problems.
BC is in trouble because of weak leadership & insane policies.That starts off at the top&the folkswho elected them.
Same goes for the rest of Canada. Very weak leadership for decades and crazy agendas & policies have totally destroyed the country's viability.
With maybe 1 expection. Alberta being the sole & unique exception to the case.
But even Alberta will be a whole lotta trouble if they don't make drastic changes like Trump is doing here.
I would say that the comparison most people make between Alberta & Texas is somewhat accurate. and they are experiencing some of the same issues.
The Demcrats & Progressive left have been trying for decades to turn Texas blue, or at least purple as a swing state.
They attempted to do this by Federal policy, with crazy immigration policies, by saturating & overloading the state with millions of immigrants. By ANY type of immigration. legal or not.
The same is being attempted in Alberta. And they, meaning your politicians, the liberal left, are slowly turning Alberta Liberal with Progressive idealogies.
Your major cities in Alberta are already lost, gone.
For the rural areas, they know it's only a matter of time & mother nature before Alberta goes totally Liberal.
I mean seriously, just look at the number of Indians & other 3rd world immigrants being shipped to Alberta by the boatloads.
It's overwhelming & the consequnces very dire for anyone who considers themselves a true conservative.
That's how the turned the core of Ontario completely Liberal by the way.That & indoctrination of generations of young Canadians.
They're repeating the same thing, using the same old recipe in the last bastion of what you would call Conservatism in Canada.
Unfortunately for you, on the path Canada is on right now, they willeventually succeed. And i don't see anything stopping them.
You are correct in your statement by the way. Alberta or BC for that matter have NO say their own destiny or eventual political outcomes.
It's all centered in Onatrio......ALL of it. Or a particular section of it. I forget what you guys call it.
But it's equivalent of what we have here as Swing States. There's about 5 or 6 crucial ones here.
But in Canada it's ALL depedent on that small single area in Ontario.
Which is completely crazy to me, just pure luncacy in my mind. Totally mindboggling.
That folks in the rest of the country like Alberta, actually accept such a set up.
You actually have no chance, zero of ever winning any acceptable outcome.
