Why the Chinese may be interested in a takeover

It seems Alberta would be perfect for the Chinese miners who want to continue their operations. In the past, the Canadian government blocked some Chinese takeover attempts in the oil patches but it's very unlikely it will also block the takeover of a Bitcoin mining company.

This is from CNBC:

A major Chinese bitcoin mining hub is shutting down its cryptocurrency operations

TUE, MAR 2 2021
  • China's Inner Mongolia region plans to ban new cryptocurrency mining projects and shut down existing activity in a bid to cut down on the energy-consuming operation.
  • Bitcoin mining consumes an estimated 128.84 terrawatt-hour per year of energy, more than entire countries such as Ukraine and Argentina.
  • Inner Mongolia alone accounts for around 8% of all bitcoin mining globally, more than the United States which accounts for 7.2%.

very very interesting, hopefully this 3rd party entity that bitfury transfered/sold their shares to is not related to them...once they have a controlling portion of shares , we'll get pennies on the dollar of our true value...it's why we need an uplisting ASAP ,it'll give us truer value through a huge boost in liquidity, savyer investors etc...
