New interview from FCIR with $LBNK.V’s director Gianni and Martin from Rock Tech Lithium. They discuss the latest from the lithium sector and what to expect from the industry going into the future. I'll summarize some of the key points below:
- There’s tremendous growth and demand going well into the next decade. The companies that will really thrive are the lithium miners in world-class jurisdictions with stable governmental affairs, as it'll be safer to sign long-term contracts with these producers.
- The world is running out of lithium quickly, and there needs to be more sources of lithium.
- Lots of pushback against the large footprint of salars and open-pit mining. Both take a lot of time to implement and to extract a significant amount of lithium resources. Alberta isn't well-positioned for this type of mining but is one of the most promising for DLE-based production.
- $LBNK.V’s project has a huge reservoir for DLE production, and the PEA is expected to be shown in the coming weeks.
- Only $37M shares OS, and even after the PEA is released, they'll still have $5M+ in cash.

Now, considering that the next big catalyst is the PEA and it's coming out in the next few weeks, definitely make sure to keep an eye on it. The Boardwalk project has the potential to become a world-class producer through DLE (especially with just around 6M tonnes of LCE).
