Can't post the article SH has it on a main page but when trying to copy it here, it says there is profane words init - go figure ! Here is the kist of my comment - seems the pipeline is being sold also.

The divested infrastructure includes most of the Trans Forcados major crude oil pipeline from OML30 to the Forcados River manifold. The remaining 8 km to the Forcados terminal will remain with the SPDC joint venture.

Great pick up bat, I missed that. You may be right that this divesture is delayng things. It is going to be inteersting to see what happens with Nigerian on-shore prod when all the majors are gone and it is just a bunch of local small fries operating the fields.

The negotiations for this started easily in June, maybe earlier,  as HOC made mention of it in early July. Clever that Shell keep the main exporting trunk of the pipeline and Shell/Total leave all the problems on the pipe from the field to the new owners. HOC seem to have a joint venture with Shoreline Electric, the Nigerian Coy, rather than an RSA but like MMT they have all the financial ...more
