MEAOF

Down 20% on 100,000 shares - for what reason? Ridiculous.

Appears someone is in complete control of the share price. I doubt nothing to do with the company itself. I watched yesterday on the TSX and every time it went to .10, anonymous came back a seller with a buyer for 9 cents. I wish I had a broker friend to help me find an answer.

BINGO ! ...You ever wonder why Dundee never buys or sells even one share of MTO other than they just dont like us maybe...lol... for someone who has such a vested interest in OSK and the Barry area...as long as you allow anonymous trading this kind of unfair trading is what kills retail investors that invest in junior miners... it takes nothing for MM to take control of share price so that when a ...more

Thanks for that Bob, in the end, shareholders vote but shareholders need to know the true value of the Barry pit. I am sure if an offer was ever presented, a couple big players would step up to the plate. I don't see anyone other than maybe a Goldcorp stepping in to do this.

Bob, I love they way you hand out blame to everyone except those who are ultimately responsible for attracting investors. If this stock should be .28 cents and it's actually at .09 I don't think the problem is paid bashers and MM's. Either someone is doing a lousy job of attracting investors and/or there are other issues behind the scenes. The market hasn't singled out MTO to ...more

There is a reason this stock is at .09. ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????- FRUITVALE SAYS --------------SO WHAT IS THE REASON ?
Comment by mstettler on Aug 17, 2016 4:08pm
Too right.  The reasons have been covered over and over; nothing new here.   Another example of 'value' is GCM.  140,000 oz production,  cash cost $680/all in sustaining $811 per oz, actual earnings, 16 million oz resource.  Trading for 19 million market cap vs MTO trading today at 44 million. So why is a company with current earnings, 3.5x the production and 16 ...more

So, .14 is half of .095 gcm? I like MTO new web page, much better then the old one, EH! PMS.
Comment by mstettler on Aug 17, 2016 6:23pm
No, and I didn't say that.  The market value of a company is measured by market cap - not share price.
Comment by mrmarket1 on Aug 17, 2016 6:30pm
Wow !! you are so wrong , it's laughable !!! you say "No, and I didn't say that.  The market value of a company is measured by market cap - not share price."
Comment by mstettler on Aug 17, 2016 6:52pm
That is correct.  Share price alone does not represent the value of a company; market cap does. The original poster was wondering how GCM could be worth less than half of MTO when it's share price is .135 vs .095 for MTO. Since you only ever post idiotic statements you are going on ignore with the rest of the tools. Also, learn to think before you speak.

M, I tried responding to Bob's post before but internet went down and never posted. I actually mentioned Gran Columbia in my post. My point was that MMs are not farting around with a dime stock. They don't play games unless they are working a big order, which they apparently are not since there is more than enough stock to fill anyone's order without games. I still contend that they ...more

You may not see big earnings until the Barry ore starts going through the mill. I have no problem with management being concerned about a paycheck until retirement arrives.

Hi T,  The all in sustaining is extremely high without any improvement (or ever any mention of striving to improve) quarter after quarter. I don't know or care what bob writes as he is on ignore along with jumper and the other twits.

Hi T ...Im not sure what your tyrying to compare with these guys who mine in a one of the most dangerous juristiction in the world !!! In Colombia, resource extraction by foreign companies continues to be regarded as a form of “neocolonialism,” especially in some sectors of academia. This image is being fostered not only by groups on the left, but also is one of the underlying dogmas of the ...more
