1 500 000 shares cross traded from PI Financial client to another PI Financial client.

hummmm... I don't know what to think about that cross trade activity since Canaccord is in the game and anonymous looks to be in trouble, trying to maintain the stock price low.

portfolio manager can effectively move one client's asset to another client that wants it and eliminate the spread on the trade. The broker and manager must prove a fair market price for the transaction and record the trade as a cross for proper regulatory classification. The asset manager must be able to prove to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) that the trade was beneficial to both parties.

so called "cross trading" can appear decieving. I deal thru CIBC & they told me that when i place an order they 1st try to place with the same house (trading inst.)  so CIBC, in my case. So it may appear like someone is cross trading but it's not. If their is no one else with CIBC that wants to fullfill my order then it goes to anyother house. I always that 1st order placed ...more

A big cross trade is good for Medivolve stock. Here is an example, if this person wanted to sell 1.5 million shares in the open market, guaranteed price probably gone down. Anon could have used this to manipulate and drive down the share price.   A trade of securities involving buy and sell orders for the same securities which are offset without recording the trade on the ...more
