Dip in stock price

Can someone educate me on why the stock dropped instead of rising? I would think the good news regarding financing would cause a rally.

Maybe because there was already a rally before the news? And we're still pulling back from that (though hopefully done, cross fingers). Some people taking their profit from the run up to 44/45/46, and then scared traders selling because it wouldn't stay up there and fell a little.

Perhaps the dip in price is due to the multiple news articles of a recession hitting Canada in the 1Q and 2Q 2015 in the past several days. Nice! It seems like its positive all the time with job growth. Oil companies campaign against it citing job/investment loss, but after a transition I always here about the increase in jobs/investments. I read a report a little while back that dirty oil politicians with a vested interest in fossils will be totally gone in the next 5 to 10 years. There is a study going on right now in one of the U.S ...more

On June 8 2015 the Hawaiian Governor signed in to Law that the state would generate 100% of its electricity from renewables by 2045. (This makes them the 1st state to do this). On June 11 2015 Vermont got a little more aggressive stating they would reach 75% renewable generation by 2032 and 55% by 2017. That less than 2 years from now. It would be pretty hard to stop this movement now. There will ...more
