share price pull back

The pull back is understandable and deserved.

The more I look at the Q3 results the more horrible the Q3 numbers look. Yes, future expansions look great.

Like others, I am getting fed up of excuses and feeble explanations for management miscues.

Making errors is part of business practice but the Alterra boys take the biscuit for the past 20 or 24 quarters.

Did anyone tune in to the conference call?  Did management sound embarrassed?   Did they exhibit signs that they are aware of how bad things have been for so long?

I am hoping that the Texas wind operating margins are reasonably good and that the litany of excuses may be ending and that Q1 2016 will set the stage for the new era.   There are many like me, I surmise.

You did not miss anything after the 3rd question. They basically reiterated what was published in the quarterly report the day before.   I also believe in renewable energy and I am committed to Alterra Power for the long haul because I think the company will eventually do well.  With all that is happening in the renewable energy sector as it relates to climate change including the major ...more

I agree with your sentiment. Getting the share price up in this case relates solely to one thing;  better execution. They have had for too many stumbles.  Hard luck plays in for some cases but eventually management must take responsibility and focus on winners.  The run of river projects look good and wind seems to do alright.  Geothermal in Iceland is problematic due to low ...more
