STAN -

It's one of those assessments that can have several outlooks.
Magnesium can be converted into so many end uses.
As tech advances - salt minerals - which magnesium falls under - can become all the more useful.

- fertilizers
- deadburn
- magnesium carbonate ( food grades + pharma )
- hydrogen storage ( hydrides )
- fuel cells
- fuel additives ( accelerators )
- batery storage
- pyro military
- nuclear ( some are thinking this )

Having tach attached - helps valuation emmensely -
Having mining + permits in hand - also assists.

This junior began with - DBM - magnesium.
Then... decided to scale it up to the league of - magnesium metal.
Good idea.

But... having the right process im place - extraction to end product also helps.
Chloride conversion - swap out - to electrolysis VS Furnace.
Each have thier own - outcome and cost factors.

Since there is no real - nailed down - process - or, tech attached.
The MgCO3 deposit - has to be guaged as what it is.

ISSUES ?
Other junior explorers in B.C. are drilling in Dolomites and are successful in finding TREO
blend - REE'S.

A former - Geo - past owner of Driftwood, performed an assay in 2001.
Assay revealed - REE'S -

Not off the chart ppm - but we have to keep in mind - the ppm / were taken from targeted MgCO3
ores andnot- DOLOMITES - which the junior has a significant amount - of.

Which begs.... if Dolomites were assayed, particularly - colored Dolo's.
What would the Dolomites reveal in Driftwood - or the shales ?
HENCE - it would be interesting to see what each - lithology - would host in ree's.
There may not be significant ree's - but then again... ree's may have been - overlooked.
Wouldn't hurt to reassay several ore geologies of - Driftwood.

SECONDLY -
Driftwood has a current - 8 million tonne - measured resource.
This resource is based on - DBM - a calculation that factors out - co2.
As most know - co2 - if fired out - will weigh less.
If kept in as a - MgCO3 - carbon in - our tonnage could gain far more tonnage.

THIRDLY -
It is my own presumption - former explorers who drilled and bulk tested Driftwood, calculated the tonnage far higher - 22,000,000 tonnes - 28,500,000 million tonnes - and perhaps arrived at this higher tonnage by factoring in - dolomite magnesium -

Some may disagree... but to give this a fair shake -
One would have to analyze the Dolomites to see what percentage the MgCO3 is, before shunning the idea.

As most know - i posted a third party analysis - which compared Droftwoods Dolo's to Mt Brusslof deposit - Driftwood rang in at - 10% higher grade of Mg in dolo's than, BagMags.
Droftwoods dolo's contained - 30% Mg.
While BagMag's Dolos were approx - 20 - 22 %

So... should one include the dolomites - given - the Mg is of significant presence ?
I'll let others decide that.

Prices are all over the map.
Doesn't help when, China shuts Mg plants down.
Nor will i expand on this "subject " with the antics that go on in metals markets that set prices.

If i were a third party - i would'nt give it the lowest value - end product.
Nor... highest.

It would be middle of the road.
As mentione several times in post - it would be most likely an - MgCO3.
Junior doesn't have the tech, nor $$$$ or facilities to make the high end product, therefore,
this is of benifit to another who does - and also to profit from.

Stan i can't give a price perse... ( i could ) but... i don't have live prices.
Can't access current - one has ot sign in for those prices on specific websites.

What i do have access to is...
Alibaba or China prices.
In - USD - which one would have to tack on - 1.30 x to convert ot CDN.

MgCO3 - is listed at - $800 - $1,500 / usd
See the issue ?
Pretty wide spread.
One would have ot call to know what the true tonnage price is.

Now... that's the middle of the road price.
Some might say... no, no,no,,,,
Why not place a magmetal price on it...?
And while at it... a calcium metal price too.
Convert both magnesium and calcium to metal.
And... they'd be right too.
But... we have raw resources - with no plant for conversion.

If junior proceededwith a plant - we'd perhaps sink the ship either by, financing or share structure.
I don't think that would result in favorable economics for shareholders.
Sometimes just proving up and selling - is best.
own opinion of course.

So.. .that's my honest take on the, subject.
Hope it helps.

Cheers...

p.s.
sorry for the belated reply....
i was researching serpentine ores - nickel.

67-thank you for the detailed reply- i just did my own analysis, took 15 minutes, and got my price-did not realize how easy it was- sorry to have wasted your time
