All the pieces seem to be coming together. My guess is that within the next week, we get a revised offer of somewhere around US$17 or approx C$22.60. GLTA

No explaination - nothing. Unbelievable.  This management is definitely not working for the shareholders.  When you sell yourself out - this is what happens.

National Post today. https://business.financialpost.com/news/fp-street/milestone-apartments-leaves-unit-holders-guessing-as-starwood-deal-vote-delayed Article reiterates there is no new offer.

IMHO, there's no need for this level of angst.  The fact that the vote was delayed obviously tells you one thing -  there were clear indications that it wasn't going to pass with this offer price (see Imhof's comments). So the two sides are likely back at the table to pound out something that both Starwood can live with and that will provide enough of an appeal/incentive to ...more

i think most shareholders want a better offer and that most would have concerns with this management team going forward.  There is nothing stopping you from sticking with Starwood if there is a sale.

Well stated retiredcf...Totally agree..Regards, TB

Agreed on all counts though the level of greed that this management team has shown to cash in as soon as the internalization finished is noteworthy.  The fact that shareholders are not letting them go through their plans as smoothly as they would have liked is a good sign.

So the question to you guys is... do you want to continue to hold as is with this mgmt group or if the bid is north of $17US, would you exit or carry on with Starwood?
Comment by maypeters on Mar 13, 2017 9:55pm
Inspite of their greediness - its all about the money and this management team is good at their real full time job so I for one would hang on and buy more if the bid fails since they will be motivated even more to ensure the price goes up and next bid from someone else will be at a much higher discount.  Did not understand what you mean by carry on with Starwood.

ok, your opinion is noted. My apologies, i had thought Starwood Capital was a publicly traded company.
