Hopeful.....

Maybe I'm reading too much into this article that was released today? Here is some of it.... On Thursday, Ontarios Chief Medical Officer of Health hinted that further measures were going to be taken before schools reopened to in-class learning, although he did not say exactly what parents, students or educators should expect. I want to put some more steps and protection in place, he said. I know that the minister will probably be making some comments coming up in the next day or two about what further he is going to do, and so I'm not going to preempt him by what his comments are in some of those areas. The teachers unions said they hope the government takes the next two weeks to immediately implement the necessary measures to ensure a safe return to in-person learning is possible.

It isnt at all far fetched that there is a govt related deal in the works about to finally break and this story was shot to help explain how and why Biocloud will be used going forward.  So they will air it accordingly. I am not saying that IS whats happening but it also makes sense if so. Patience.  They shot it, they will use it.

And don't forget, they (unless I have my Global New's mixed up) they already did a piece on them in September so why now is a pretty good question.

I believe it was CTV. Global was the radio interview

Having watched the half hour Global National News last couple of nights, I hate to say it, but the type of subjects that were covered do not appear like a piece on technology would be a good fit. Maybe the weekend version.

John, Someone asked if we had already done an interview on glabal news (tv). I was responding saying we have done an interview on CTV (tv) and in interview on glabal news radio (radio) so this will be the first time we have done an interview on Global news (TV). Sorry....my response could have been clearer.

Never thought of it that way. I keep thinking it was just another short interview but, this does make a lot of sense. Good catch to all who thought this way.

Given that they are sitting on a home grown solution they put money into developing, well, let's just say if they don't get some Bioclouds in the schools in this moment we should probably bail out of this bet!

I suspect it is purely the high cost.  They have to find a way to make a deal that is good for the people but still fairly profitable to the company.  its A LOT of units.
Comment by cactuseskimo on Jan 09, 2021 7:49am
Honestly, they should consider outfitting the schools (if it's a substantial amount of units) pretty much at cost. What a great way to get their product in the market in a highly publicized way. Definitely a strategy that could open the floodgates and help set a new standard for the "norm".
Comment by canyousayiii on Jan 09, 2021 8:12am
I fully agree. If they can get that extra capacity, negotiate with the whole supply chain for everyone to lower their margins for schools, starting with the Canadian supply chain and lower the prices for Canadian schools. Invented, made and giving back to Canada. 10 percent profit margins....with a normal but not additional quantity discount for cartridges. Lease to own financing arrangement, by ...more

10,000 units could bring $10,000,000 of recurring annual revenues from cartridges.
Comment by bcman79 on Jan 09, 2021 11:39am
good idea, install at cost but still have revenue from the cartridges.

I would disagree with selling just because the Gov has their thumb up their a$s. There are so many other avenues for this tech.
