Global news clip

They said they installed it at the entrance.  Is that really the best place to put it?  The door is probably opening frequently, letting fresh outside air in.  How much virus are they going to detect in that?  I doubt people are going to stand there for five minutes to breathe into it.  Seems to me a better place to put it would have been in an interior space that's not subjected to a continuous refreshment of clean air.

Plus the sign on the door says it's a test, which doesn't sound to me like a sale.  With the door location how are they going to tell if it works or not?

This has the earmarks of a meh install that will do nothing to add to BioCloud knowledge.

Great question mr random anonymous SH poster. I think I'll let the experts decide where they want to put the devices

Famous last words. Continue on with your appeal to authority.
Comment by Edcando on Apr 20, 2021 9:54pm
Those aren't famous last words nor is it any appeal to any sort of authority . I'm in construction. If someone does t think I k is how to build a house /office building then they better hire someone else. Telling me how they think I should build the house is only going to make me laugh like when I read your tripe
Comment by Whydunnit on Apr 20, 2021 10:10pm
Who's talking about construction, which has nothing to do with this? Which one are you, Curly or Shemp?
Comment by Edcando on Apr 20, 2021 10:25pm
The point is more than clear to anyone woth a half a brain. My apologies for not explaining it to you. The obvious point is that you don't "hire" (give money too" a company you think doesn't know what it's doing. If you lose faith you "fire" the company (sell your shares). You are constantly negative. Meaning you either aren't a shareholder here or you' ...more

That explains why you understand it. I've been a shareholder for almost nine months.  Not terribly long but still long.  Doesn't mean I have to fawn over the bewildering stuff KNR does.  That's your job.
Comment by Edcando on Apr 20, 2021 11:14pm
Except I don't fawn? I just don't waste my time or energy being negative on a board of a company I've lost faith in. I simply sell and move on. Perhaps you can't because you made the fatal flaw of investing more than you can afford to lose. It's something I never do which is why I never need to be talked off any ledges.  Im pretty sure you find your comments/retorts to ...more

NOBODY posts endlessly on a message board complaining, undermining, lying, attacking and seeding the sows of doubt when they are invested in a company. NOBODY. THESE GUYS ARE TROLLS! THEY ARE SHORTS. PUT THEM ON IGNORE!

There is a more intelligent answer. Even in that news clip. Thought you learned that maybe you should ask some questions.
Comment by canyousayiii on Apr 20, 2021 9:49pm
You havs to pause on the sign in tje clip to read the whole thing. The entrance is kind of like an air lock and they ask folk to spend a couple of minutes there. Effectively creating a breathalyzer which is less intrusive but more time consuming. That is how some of us envisioned a long time ago. Asking folk to spend a bit of time in a space with BioCloud. Businesses to figure out where, and how ...more
Comment by Whydunnit on Apr 20, 2021 10:07pm
I didn't read the entire sign as it flashed by too quickly, but it does make more sense if they're using it as an airlock device.  Not sure just a couple of minutes is enough.  Guess we'll see.  Or not.  Or maybe.
Comment by canyousayiii on Apr 20, 2021 10:23pm
Yes, flashed by quickly. Average Joe will not go back and pause to read. A regional clip will not do it either. We had one before in the east which spoke more about it and did nothing. But every little piece helps. The question is who is spearheading a well planned marketing campaign. KNR? Individual distributors? We have no sense whether there even is a marketing strategy. Sorry, KNR, many won ...more

There is that man trap concept in practice. Hate to say it but even that isn't foolproof. Someone could not be emitting at high enough levels to trigger until after they are already through. So I have come to realize that is not as effective as i first imagined it would be. Still useful  but only if you are monitoring more generally in common areas as well. So, yeah, the company may need ...more

Agreed.  But the unit would probably catch an asymptomatic superspreader which is what is most important.

YY, we are still just talking primarily detection which can help reduce subsequent spreading so that is the secondary prevention downstream effect. If proven, I see the importance of it as detecting concentrations that are well below those that can infect. So, as soon as the unit detects covid, it is like a fire alarm, it gives you a chance to get out of the area BEFORE it is engulfed by fire. You ...more

Thanks candy but you are simply repeating a lesson taught long before (by many here including me). My point was that while it is an atttractive and potentially useful application (the man trap scenario) it is not enough for the reasons you have so eloquently, but needlessy, repeated. But you do touch on something that deserves dissection - and that is this whole issue of privacy and "civil ...more

My bad. I thought you were touching on something that we had already discussed.
