warrnts don't hav a symetry w the stok..  there i an intrinsic value.. they will have a market a few weeks before exercise.. the new warrants are european warrants - sold in switzerland and hav to be exercised for the stock..  be care fulll  some brokerages will mak u play cash to buy the stok and redeme w coupon.. the european/swiss style are more  akin to bearer bonds.. ...more

The warrants if any large volume will trade at a lower price than today's. If I had warrants that I could sell I would be selling them at 4 1/2 cents because at an average of .163 I would value them at 2 cents maximum. Maybe the same guy you bought those 4 1/2 warrants can afford to sell those shares that went for 16 cents today IMO it would make sense cheers NS

come on !  they were trading for 6 months @ 3 to 3.5 when common was o.08 First, warrants have intrinsic value. If the stock price is above the exercise price of the warrant, then the warrant's intrinsic value equals the difference between the two prices, with an adjustment if the warrant isn't exercisable for shares of stock on a one-for-one ratio. The intrinsic value sets a lower ...more

New44... Yes USD cost and CAD for the price of the stock... I cannot believe I never noticed that simple mistake... wow. I think you just added 27% to all my calculations of what I project the stock is worth.... F'n amazing that after hundreds of posts that no one else noticed that either (or maybe they did ,,, I don't know, lol) Damn lucky I didn't make that mistake the other way ...more

Warrants are simply a Quasi Bond...  several methods to compute value..  they mature over time and are not good trading instruments.. NCU pegged .45 yesterday and are bak up to .60 and are not esoterically priced to the curruent price of Cu++ where do U get "" Good luck on warrants 26 1/2 cost or 16 cents for the stock"" or the 26 1/2 ? the intrinsic value of the ...more

i kinda scrued it up !  point is that these warrants are calls or quasi bond's w maturity dates.. there are no premiums per say..  but U will be penalied when U trade short of expiration w gains.. ask may be 1.00  but the sell/bid will not fill above 0.80..  we saw this yesterday when the first warant went off @ o.045..  you could not  buy for less than 0.06 ...more

Hey Patch, great info on the warrants. I have some of the regular ones sold on this side of the pond, so does that all apply to those as well? Since the new A warrants were issued trading has thinned out on the regular warrants, and it was thin already, but it did trade like any other stock. Your opinion on this is much appreciated. KW

WT:  the first series expires in jan 22.. yes the warrants trade ..  but are not great trading instruments - mor like buy and stuff in a glass cookie jar - admired by all"! about 6 weeks before expiration - generally; if the stok has had a good run..  the wt's go into combat -w- combar..  i hav had warrants go over the price of the stok last week or so..  gold ...more
