Tcheck... and sadly, GM decided to partner with LG Chem and build a $2.3 billion plant in Ohio to make them. Now if only they had invested in Quebec, they could have controlled the whole process from mine to finished battery product. For labour, they could have hired Mexicans from Ontario that finished harvesting tobacco or grapes and used them during the winter months... lol (with sincere ...more

Why do you want they control the whole process ??????????????? They do not even manufacture cathode at GM plant and even so can purchase lithium from SQM for the same price than any other producers. And after they purchase copper, cobalt, nickel mines, aluminum smelter, plastic industry ... Nemaska is great asset for Quebec but will ultimately represent only around 2% of worldwide production ...more

what does your link demonstrate . It demonstates what I was alluding to in the original post that LG Chem is teaming with GM. It is you that went off on a tangent talking about ancient history of the Volt, previous LG Chem ventures and Michigan assembly plants!!! The point being, GM did not invest in NMX to get lithium... they prefer to deal with going concerns! we wont stay with one mine one ...more

it's impossible to wake up the brainwash. They see one headline about EV or LI and automatically assume that NMX will be rich... that's how they invested in the first place, brainwashed and blinded by LI and Climate Change. They went in blind they get kicked out blind and they will remain blind…SAD It's sad how they brainwashed millions to believe in this Climate change Hoax.
