Novus might be a consolidator
One optimization potential Novus and 1st energy could be looking into is Buying the Renegade Assets in the Viking. The aquistion would grow the reserves and allow novus to push out a small % Dividend.
IMO the only other option in this optimization process would be to move in as an aquirer , grow . issue a sustainable dividend and play the current junior market out with proven results.
This company is not dead like the SP is representing. Its running smoother then ever and one day alot of watchers will be surprised in how fast this share price got back over $1. Would not be suprised if Novus drills 70 - 80 wells this year mostly on CF and exits at 5000+ bbls.
Eric Nutthall had one thing right in his blurb on part 1 Market Call June 20. Canadian Light Oil is where opprotunity is. (wish he talked more on this topic). He has a 6% weighting of RPL in the fund. Heavily invested in Renegade and even doubled down.... His fund will NOT allow him to buy Novus. It would be called "Too Many Eggs in One Basket" Why would he tell you to buy it if his hands are tied?
I've never been a long stock trader but going to ride this story out to success. Novus has lots of P+P inventory in the best oil play in Saskatchewan.

The best outcome for Novus is obviously a sale. If they come to the public with a No sale . Then the company will be trading in the 50 cent range and never see 1$ again. This has simply been a story that's old. I can understand any investors frustration.
